Who we are

I am Stephen Provis. I am a website developer based in Colchester in Essex (UK).

I have been working in the computer industry since 1996, working for a number of successful companies and provided computer support for individuals and small businesses alike.

I started developing websites in 2000 for the travel insurance company Insure and Go, this motivated me into learning more about website and database development over the next few years. I moved away from the computer support side to focus on website development in 2008.

In March 2011 I started my own business with the aim to provide website support to small businesses in and around the Colchester area, this came about through the requests of a growing number of loyal clients and so Stephen Provis and Co was born.

I work with a select number of individuals to develop, support, market and manage my clients websites. These people are all experts in their own field.

Together we have been able to help a number of businesses with most of their on-line requirements.

I am a strong believer in doing what’s right, in life and in business. Through building a good relationship with my clients I am able to help them succeed, and in turn they generate business for me through recommendations and return business.
